Candidates Tournament | Round 12

Viswanathan Anand played draw with Dmitry Andreikin in the twelfth round of the Fide World Candidates Tournament 2014 at Khanty-Mansisyk, Russia. With two games to go, Anand still maintains the lead with 7.5 points on the ranking lists. Aronian Levon also drew level with Vladimir Kramnik while playing white. Aronian still remains in second place with 6.5 points. Mamedyarov also drew with Karjakin, both with 6 points each on the cross table. Topalov Vaselin of Bulgaria was the only winner of today's game with victory over Svidler Peter of Russian after a superb move. Kramnik now stays at the bottom of the table with 5.5 point after a draw with Aronian.
