39th National ‘B’ Chess Championship-2013 Tourney
The Bangladesh Bishal Trade & Rupahali Sarees 39th National ‘B’ Chess Championship-2013 begins yesterday with 138 chess players. Among the participants are 3 International Masters, 8 Fide Masters, 1 Women International Master and 110 rated players from Dhaka city took part in the event. Other participants from different districts are also present.
The tourney involves 11 rounds of Swiss-league System and 9 players with the highest aggregate of points will qualify for the event. Grandmasters Niaz Murshed, Abdullah Al Rakib, Enamul Hossain, Ziaur Rahman, Reefat Bin Sattar were invited by the Bangladesh Chess Federation to participate directly in the ‘A’ Chess Championship.
