Candidates Tournament Round 7

Levon Aronian triumph over Sergey Karjakin in round 7 of FIDE World Candidates Tournament to hitch Viswanathan Anand with 4.5 points on the top of the cross table. Aronian played pretty well today to win a point after disappointing game against Andreikin in round 6.

However, in a game between Anand and Svidler, Anand outplayed his opponent initially but lost his momentum after a pawn decline and a queen sacrifice. Well, the tables are turned in favour of Svidler and all Anand could get was a draw. Vladimir Kramnik defeated Shakhriyar Mamedyarov to go third with 4 points, while Topalov, Andreikin and Mamedyarov are on 3 points each. Karjakin is at the bottom of the cross table with 2.5 points.
