Anand Takes On Carlsen Again

The crucial game of today was between Karjakin and Viswanathan Anand, the game ended in a draw after 91 moves. The five-time world champion Anand finally had his chance to play Magnus Carlsen in the world championship title later this year in November. The oldest player in the tournament Anand now leads with 8.0 points without a single loss in the tournament. Pre-tournament favourite, Levon Aronian lost against Dmitry Andreikin in round 13 game of Fide World Candidates Tournament 2014 today in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. Vladimir Kramnik also outplayed his ark rival Veselin Topalov to move up on the cross table. Kramnik Vladimir Andreikin Dmitry, Mamedyarov Shakhriyar, Aronian Levon, Karjakin Sergey are all on 6.5 points. Svidler Peter with 6 points and is back at bottom of the cross table.
